The Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olufemi Agagu FNIVS, says the introduction of vocational skill acquisition programme  in secondary schools in Ondo State under the Multi Skill Teenpreneurship Programme will redefine the prospect of education in the State. The programme, facilitated by Accent Entrepreneurship Development Initiative and Spring Board Nigeria, was aimed at equipping secondary school students with multiple entrepreneurial skills for greater employability opportunities and self-reliance while undergoing their normal academic programmes. The Ondo State Government has commenced vocational skill acquisition programme, tagged Multi Skills Teen-preneurship Programme, MSTP), in secondary schools across the state to address critical needs within the education sector. The programme, facilitated by Accent Entrepreneurship Development Initiative and Spring Board Nigeria, is aimed at equipping secondary school students with multiple entrepreneurial skills for greater employability opportunities and self-reliance while undergoing their normal academic programmes. The vocational skills acquisition will help the students understand the inter-correctedness of the theoretical concepts they learn in the textbooks, their real-life applications, life advancement opportunities, as well as career equipping and preparatory knowledge for the future. Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olufemi Agagu FNIVS, says the state government is ready to partner any reliable organization working towards enhancing the quality of Education in the state. He gave the assurance while recieving a team from Daramola Adesuyi Foundation, DAF, during a courtesy call on him in his office in Akure. The team, led by Mrs Stella Daramola,  mother of the founder of the foundation and wife of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, were at the Commissioner's office to present to him an application aimed at enhancing quality education in the state.
