GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA FLAGS OFF THE CONSTRUCTION OF OKE-ARO - IDANRE DUAL CARRIAGE WAY TOMORROW.
The Ondo State Government will tomorrow, Wednesday 30th of April 2025, officially flag-off the dualization of Oke-Aro-Idanre road project in Akure.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Infrastructure, Lands & Housing, Engr. Olawoye Ayorinde Abiola, FNSE, said the flag off of the phase 1 dua carriage way would be performed by the Governor.
According to Engr. Olawoye, the project was in fulfilment of a major component of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa's administration's blueprint aptly captured as "Sustainable Infrastructural Development and Tourism" under the 7-point "OUR EASE" Agenda.
He said the project was a demonstration of the commitment of the APC-led administration to transform the infrastructural landscape of the state in a safe and economically viable atmosphere.
Engr Olawoye explaied that the project was particularly designed to ease the pains associated with traffic congestion in Oke-Aro axis over the decades, leading to loss of man-hours and emotional stress.
The flag off will be performed by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa tomorrow by ten o'clock in the morning at Cash Hold Junction, Arakale, Akure.
