Joint SS2 Promotion Exams; Ondo State Government reshedules three papers earlier slated for tomorrow*
The Ondo State Government has postponed the papers scheduled for tomorrow in the ongoing SS2 Promotion Examination in all secondary schools across the state.
A statement by the Head, Information & Media, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Olaoluwa Meshack, says postponement of the three papers became imperative due to the public holiday declared by the Federal Government tomorrow.
The Federal Government had declared tomorrow Tuesday 15th July, 2025, a public holiday to mourn the former Nigeria President, General Mohammad Buhari, who passed on yesterday in a hospital in London.
The three papers; English Language, Commerce and Woodwork, were earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow across all secondary schools in the state but had to be rescheduled in compliance with the Federal Government directive.
According to the Press Statement, the Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Akindele Ige said the three papers have been rescheduled to hold on Thursday 24th July, 2025.
He enjoined all students to effectively prepare for the rescheduled papers on Thursday next week.
