  The Ondo State Forum of Permanent Secretaries has attributed  the landslide victory recorded by the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the just  concluded  governorship election  to a testament of his sterling  performance in office in the last 10 months. Aiyedatiwa, the incumbent Governor of the State, secured victory in all the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, garnering 366,781 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 117,845 votes.   The Ondo State Government says it would establish special fund to promote and develop entrepreneurship education and skills acquisition in its public schools across the state. Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr Olaolu Akindolire stated this in Akure while declaring open the 2024 Stakeholders workshop on Entrepreneurship education in Ondo State. The Commissioner stated that the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa was irrevocably committed to promoting functional education and entrepreneurship growth with a view to encourage innovative ideas and skills acquisition in teaching and learning in primary and secondary schools.   The Ondo State Government will consider the introduction of Drug Integrity Test as basic condition for admission of students into its tertiary institutions across the state as a measure to check drug abuse among the youths. The state government will also work with relevance authorities and agencies towards introducing Anti Narcotics Studies into secondary and primary school curriculum in the state.
